At Equine Balance Farriery, the welfare, comfort and performance of your horse are at the heart of everything we do.

With nearly 30 years of professional farriery experience, I provide a comprehensive range of farriery services tailored to the individual needs of each horse, from leisure and pleasure horses to elite competition and racehorses.

Fully qualified and registered, I achieved my farriery qualification in 1997 and have since worked with horses across the UK and Europe. Throughout my career, I have been honoured to receive multiple County Show Farrier Championship titles and was awarded Reserve National Farrier Champion at The Royal Show.

My experience extends to working with Olympic horses, international competition horses and racehorses at the highest levels of the sport. I have served as a UK racecourse farrier and have worked closely alongside leading veterinary practices and specialists, including Gibsons Veterinary Practice and Avon Vale Equine Veterinary Practice in the UK, as well as respected veterinarians and breeding establishments throughout Germany. During my time in Germany, I provided farriery services for several renowned Oldenburg stud farms, working with some of Europe's finest sport horses.

Traditional Shoeing

Expert shoeing tailored to your horse's conformation, workload and environment, promoting soundness, comfort and optimal performance.

Barefoot Trimming

Professional barefoot management for horses that do not require shoes, maintaining healthy hoof function and natural balance.

Therapeutic Farriery

Working closely with horse owners and veterinary professionals to support horses with lameness issues, conformational challenges and rehabilitation requirements through specialist corrective and therapeutic farriery.
